At eKIDZ High School, we believe that great innovations begin with simple observations. One such inspiring story comes from our very own student, Shaik Sufiyan of Grade 8, who has proudly qualified for the National Finals of the Science Champs National Championships 2025, to be held in Bengaluru. Sufiyan’s journey is a powerful reminder that age is never a barrier to solving real-world problems.
An Idea Born from Everyday Life
The inspiration for Sufiyan’s project came from a common problem he noticed while using a public washroom. Many people would use the toilet but forget to flush it afterward, creating hygiene concerns for the next user.
Instead of simply complaining about the problem, Sufiyan asked himself an important question:
“What if technology could solve this?”
That question led him to design an Automatic Flush System with a unique feature: the washroom door would remain locked until the toilet was properly flushed. This innovative idea encourages responsible behavior while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
But Sufiyan didn’t stop there.
Understanding that some people avoid using public toilets due to hygiene concerns, he further enhanced his project by designing an Automatic Indian-to-Western Convertible Toilet Seat System, making washrooms more accessible, comfortable, and hygienic for everyone.

This achievement was made possible through the continuous encouragement and support provided by TAN90, whose programs have helped our students think creatively, identify real-life problems, and develop innovative solutions.At eKIDZ High School, we are committed to creating an environment where students are encouraged not only to learn but also to think, question, innovate, and solve problems. Sufiyan’s success is a shining example of what happens when curiosity meets opportunity.From Regional Champion to National Finalist. Competing against talented students from across the region, Sufiyan’s project impressed the judges with its practicality, originality, and social impact. We are proud to announce that he was awarded the prestigious Science Champs Senior Title at the Regional Round of the National Championships 2025, earning a place in the National Finals in Bengaluru. This achievement reflects the dedication of our student, the guidance of our teachers.
A Message to Every Junior Student
Sufiyan’s story teaches us something very important: Great ideas do not always come from laboratories or textbooks.
